DUTIES:
A private healthcare company is seeking to fill a Medical Assistant opening in our Cardiology Office located in the hospital district of Fort Worth, TX. This position will require applicant to clean and stock rooms, answer patient calls, assist with procedures and electronic documentation, assist echo techs with cardio stress testing, rooming/checking out (scheduling appointments/procedures at the hospital), prior authorization for procedures, place lab orders/send outgoing referrals. NextGen experience is a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have a medical assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript. Bilingual applicants in English/Spanish are strongly preferred, not required. Previous NextGen experience is a plus. Opening will be a temporary position lasting 8 weeks possibly starting December 2024 or early January 2025.
