Texas Health Care, a Privia Medical Group North Texas is seeking a Medical Technologist to work in their Fort Worth Laboratory. MUST be an MT or MLT generalist experience preferred (Molecular). The ideal candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Medical Technologist must be qualified to assist the Laboratory Manager and Technical Consultant with the supervision of laboratory personnel and the performance of moderate and high-complexity testing in the laboratory.

The Medical Technologist's responsibilities include:

• Advanced computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Advanced knowledge of laboratory compliance rules and regulations including CAP and CLIA
• Excellent communication skills
• Assist in the maintenance and operation of all laboratory equipment. Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance as indicated.
• Adheres to the laboratory’s quality control policies and documents all QC activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and instrument maintenance.
• Records proper lot numbers of all controls, calibrators, and reagents.
• Assists in proficiency testing by assigning PT samples to testing personnel, able to perform sample analysis, and reporting PT results.
• Panther and GeneXpert.
• COBAS 5800
• MLT with ASCP or AMT certification.

Full-Time Night-Shift: 5 pm to 1 am.
