Medical Assistant

Location: Fort Worth, TX

We are a dedicated and patient-centered endocrinology practice committed to providing high-
quality care for individuals with diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormonal conditions.
This role requires strong teamwork, multitasking, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume
environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, efficient, and committed to providing
excellent patient care while balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. New
grads are encouraged to apply!


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical history
  • Assist physician, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with exams and procedures
  • Perform in-office diagnostic tests, including blood glucose checks and EKGs
  • Administer injections and assist with medication management under provider supervision
  • Handle prescription refills, prior authorizations, and lab result follow-ups
  • Educate patients on diabetes management, thyroid conditions, and medication adherence
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phones, and insurance verification as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications:

  • Will accept new graduates
  • Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, and certification is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patient, and physicians.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations.
  • Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients and families.
  • Good computer skills using a medical management application (EHR).
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
  • Must be reliable/dependable during work hours, as traveling to other office locations will be required.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, as traveling to SW Fort Worth and Southlake locations will be required.
