About Us
The Epilepsy Care Center and NeuroLab Diagnostics in Irving, Texas, is a leading neurology and neurodiagnostic practice dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for patients with neurological conditions and seizures. We are currently seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk / Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and families. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical front office operations, scheduling, and patient communication. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing patient flow and supporting our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone
Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
Call and confirm patient appointments
Enter new patient demographics into the EHR
Document accurately in the electronic health record (NextGen experience is a plus)
Perform clerical duties such as scanning, faxing, and filing
Ensure excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a physician’s office
Experience with neurology is a plus
Proficiency in medical terminology, typing, spelling, and clerical accuracy
Previous experience with NextGen EHR is a strong plus
Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
Schedule
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday during standard business hours
Competitive Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience
