We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, entering new patient information, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance coverage, answering telephones, scheduling appointments on the computer, collecting co-payments, and performing various other clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of previous medical front office experience is required, preferably in a physical medicine & rehabilitation setting.
• Excellent people and telephone skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding, knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and various insurance plans.
• Excellent typing and math skills, ten-key by touch.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with NextGen EPM/EMR is a plus.
